Author Guidelines
Acta Monetaria: Journal of Economic and Business is a peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing high-quality, original research in the fields of economics and business. These guidelines outline the requirements for submitting manuscripts to the journal. Authors are required to follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth submission and review process.
1. General Information

The journal is published biannually and accepts articles in English and Indonesian.

Manuscripts should be original and not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Authors must submit their work via the journal's online submission system.
2. Types of Manuscripts
We welcome the following types of manuscripts:

Original Research Articles: Articles that present original findings of research.

Review Articles: Articles that provide a comprehensive review of a specific topic within economics or business.
3. Manuscript Preparation

File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

Font: Use Times New Roman, 12-point size, with 1.5 line spacing.

Margins: Set margins to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.

Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, the full name(s) of the author(s), their affiliations, and the corresponding author's contact details (email, phone number).

Abstract: Provide a concise abstract of no more than 200 words, summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the paper.

Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords that best describe the content of your manuscript.

Headings and Subheadings: Use headings and subheadings to structure the manuscript, following the format:

Main heading (bold, centered)

Subheading (italicized, left-aligned)

References: Follow the journal's reference style (APA 7th edition). Please ensure all citations in the text match the reference list.
4. Manuscript Structure
A typical manuscript should be organized as follows:

Title Page: Includes title, author(s), affiliation(s), and corresponding author’s details.

Abstract: A short summary of the manuscript.

Keywords: List of 4-6 keywords.

Introduction: Presents the background of the study, research question, and objectives.

Literature Review: Reviews the existing research related to the topic.

Methodology: Details the research methods, data sources, and analysis techniques.

Results: Presents the findings of the research, supported by tables, figures, or charts where applicable.

Discussion: Interprets the results in the context of the research question and the literature reviewed.

Conclusion: Summarizes the key findings and implications, and suggests areas for future research.

References: A complete list of all references cited in the manuscript.
5. Figures and Tables

Figures and tables should be placed within the text at appropriate points, not at the end of the manuscript.

Each figure and table must have a descriptive title or caption.

Figures should be high-quality, and images must be clear and of appropriate resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
6. Citation Style

All references should be formatted in APA 7th edition style.

In-text citations should follow the format: (Author, Year) or (Author & Author, Year) for two authors, and (Author et al., Year) for three or more authors.

References must be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

7. Ethical Guidelines
By submitting a manuscript to Acta Monetaria: Journal of Economic and Business, authors affirm that the manuscript complies with the journal's ethical standards:

Originality: Authors must submit only original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Plagiarism: Manuscripts must not contain plagiarized material. Proper attribution of sources is required for all direct quotes, paraphrases, or ideas taken from others.

Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that may have influenced the research or manuscript.

Human and Animal Rights: Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards, and appropriate approvals must be obtained.
8. Submission Process

11. Revisions and Resubmissions

Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript in response to reviewer comments. The revision should be submitted within the specified timeframe (typically 2-4 weeks).
